Some models are available with a modification switch that can increase the output by approximately 25%, but this particular model is a straightforward 5-watt configuration. And don’t let the 5-watt rating fool you—paired with an efficient 8-inch speaker, this amplifier can get surprisingly loud. People often say you can’t gig with a 5-watt amp, but they may change their minds after experiencing one of these. They can get incredibly aggressive when pushed.

This model features an 8-inch Weber or Jensen speaker, along with Hammond transformers and other high-quality components throughout. It’s built with the attention to detail you’d expect from a quality hand-built amplifier.
