Crepping Death
A low frequency oscillator (4.7uf electrolytic capacitor + 10k resistor) feeds the second oscillator creating deep pulsing tones that vary in pitch from sputtering gurgles to buzzing square wave insanity...
The machine has a mind of it's own...
Every session you spend with it produces singular and UN-repeteable voicings...
Controls from left to right on the top panel:
Switch 1: low frequency oscillator power
Knob 1: LFO rate/time/pitch
Knob 2: Oscillator #2 rate/time/pitch
Switch 2: Oscillator #2 power
Knob 3: Master Volume
Knob 4: Smoothing The Square
Switch 3: Smoothing on/off
Front panel: Pre-amp/reverb on/off
Left side: Reverb level knob...1/4 inch output jack
In general, I make every circuit from scratch, by hand, using blank stripboard or point to point soldering...
However I occasionally
re-purpose or circuit bend existing boards...
My current enclosures are re-purposed boxes and tins with artwork that I cut out of old books and magazines...NO A.I...
